Newborn rescued from sewer after mother flushed him down the toilet

A newborn baby flushed down the toilet by his mother was rescued after a passer-by heard his cries from a sewer. The tiny boy, nicknamed Xiaoxiao, has proved to be a Christmas miracle after he survived the ordeal.
Rescuers took the cover off the sewer in China’s Shaanxi Province to reveal the newborn lying on his back in a small pool of water.

Last month, former TV queen, Esther Arunga and her husband, Quincy Timberlake, killed their 3 year- old son at their Kallangur home in Australia. The couple, who are currently remanded in Australia over the murder of their son, are said to have been arrested after autopsy results indicated that the boy was strangled with a metal object. The couple’s story was that the boy fell down the stairs while playing with his two-year-old sibling at their home. But why would Arunga and Timberlake kill their 3- year- old son?

HOW IT ALL STARTED

According to preliminary police investigations conducted by Australian Police, Esther and Timberlake killed their son intentionally and it was not accidental as they had earlier claimed. The sleuths, who carried conclusive tests on the boy’s lifeless body, said they established that the Kenyan couple had a motive before they killed the boy. Arunga in her earlier testimony had fixed her husband Quincy over the boy’s death saying he had become violent and kept insisting that the child was not his because he had been born outside wedlock. Was the boy born out of wedlock? In her testimony to the Australian police, Arunga said Quincy Timberlake was not the boy’s biological father. Esther said she got pregnant when she was still in the Finger of God sect, in Runda, Nairobi, which the Kenya Government had blacklisted as a cult. The church was synonymous with wife swapping and sexy orgies and Arunga admitted to have participated in some of them. She secretly revealed to the police that she was raped by the church’s Pastor, Omondi Onyango, (Pastor Joseph Hellon). She said she married Quincy while in her 6 month of pregnancy carrying Hellon’s child. “He never wore a condom when raping me and eventually I became pregnant,” Arunga, who was wearing an oversized white cap, a black sweater and a grey dress, told detectives. While killing the boy, Quincy always linked Joseph Hellon to the dead boy and at times, Wilson Malaba. Malaba was the man Arunga was engaged to before Hellon ‘prophesied’ that it was Timberlake who was chosen by God as Esther’s husband. If found guilty, Arunga and Timberlake could face life imprisonment or 30 years behind bars.

Thousands of Kenyans working in South Sudan are at risk of losing their jobs following a directive by the South Sudanese Government to prohibit employment of foreigners. Man divorces wife over too much sex

We've heard of people divorcing over a sexless marriage, but divorcing over too much sex? You don't hear that one every day.

Apparently, one man was recently granted a divorce by a Mumbai family court because he could no longer deal with his wife's "excessive and insatiable desire for sex."
According to The Times Of India, the sex-fatigued husband first approached the court in January, claiming that his wife was "aggressive, stubborn and autocratic" and that she'd be harassing him for sex since they married in April 2012.
The man told the court his wife forced medication on him to boast his sexual stamina and threatened to hook up with other men if she remained unfulfilled. Things got so bad, the husband had to be hospitalized for an uneasy stomach at one point.
In the end, the wife failed to appear before the court, so the divorce was granted. (Meanwhile, we couldn't be happier for the poor, put-upon husband. May he go on to have as little -- or as much -- non-chore-like, consensual sex as he'd like.)

Fact is, the face -- and body -- of supermodel is changing. Nobody's saying that there's anything wrong with the typical Twiggy-like models, because it's what we've come to recognize over the years. Kenyan presidential hopeful Quincy Timberlake charged with murder in Brisbane

A former Kenyan presidential hopeful has been charged with murder in Brisbane, following the death of a boy in June.
Quincy Zuma Wambitta Timberlake, 34, was arrested and charged on Tuesday morning.

He briefly faced the Brisbane Magistrates Court and was remanded in custody until his next court date on December 4.
Police have been investigating the three-year-old boy's death since June 18, when he was pronounced dead in Mr Timberlake's Kallangur home.

Mr Timberlake, a former Kenyan political activist who co-founded the Platinum Centraliser and Unionist Party, fled his home country with his wife to escape political persecution.
During the lead-up the ballot, Mr Timberlake was arrested numerous times and placed under house arrest by Kenyan police....

What happens when you spend a year wearing Google Glass? People find you awkward and weird, and you learn to hate your phone.

Wired's Mat Honan spent the last year wearing Google's wearable technology at every available opportunity, and his biggest takeaway was that people find wearable technology very, very weird. "Again and again, I made people very uncomfortable. That made me very uncomfortable," says Honan.

Honan found Glass was inappropriate for all manner of social situations, like eating dinner, commuting, and helping his wife give birth to their second child. Even his coworkers at Wired, the geekiest magazine on the newsstand, made fun of him for wearing Glass.
Glass was also not welcome at his oldest child's school, "because sometimes it scares children," which is exactly the kind of press Google wants you to read.
